| The beautiful & romantic Tashmoo Cottage has a compact design, allowing space to accommodate two couples, or one or two families with children. White pickled wood cathedral ceilings and natural slate tile work accented by skylights and lots of windows give the feeling of being outside in the surrounding forest while you enjoy the privacy of this home. A full kitchen opens to the living room and features a gas stove, a double-door refrigerator with icemaker, a dishwasher, a butcher-block peninsula and a state-of-the-art microwave oven beside tumbled marble tile counters. A glass window wood stove in the living room also doubles as an open fireplace and lends romantic ambiance. There is an outdoor shower and a gas grill to enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful Lake Tashmoo saltwater beach is only one mile’s walk away. A pleasant dirt road leads you to the secluded exploratory shallow on one side, and a life guard posted on the deeper ocean side. The cottage is winterized for off-season rentals - perfect for wedding guests or fishing trips. Pets are welcome to vacation with you at the Tashmoo Cottage. |
