Charming and cozy, this comfortable, historic cottage offers a unique get-a-way. Located in a quiet wooded area near Lagoon Pond, Huckleberry Lodge accommodates 4 people, with easy access to beaches, bike paths and town.
Light and airy, Huckleberry Lodge's seven interconnected rooms offer both intimacy and privacy.
Upstairs, relax in a king-size bed, surrounded by windows which view tree-tops and our local bird population. Converting to a second bedroom, the front porch offers the option of a futon double bed and floor to ceiling, old fashioned sliding glass screened windows.
Antique wicker and a day bed furnish the Victorian living room. And the living-dining area- with windows looking out to bushes and trees- serves as a friendly communal space.
There are puzzles, books and family games. Also indoor and outdoor showers, a washer/dryer, picnic table, patio and wooded yard.
A swim in Lagoon Pond is a seven minute stroll. Beautiful State Beach is a ten minute drive, and the bike path is moments away.
