Martha’s Vineyard’s Resolutions for 2012

2012 Martha's VineyardWe all know that Martha’s Vineyard is about as perfect as a place can be but like all of us ‘Martha’ has a few promises of her own that she’d like to make for the coming year

1) I’ll do my best to make sure July and August deliver 62 perfect beach days; all raining will be done between the hours of midnight and 5 am.

2) If visitors’ want to call it Oaks Bluff, it’ll be fine with me

3) Every sunset over Menemsha will be a ‘10’

4) In August, downtown parking will magically appear 2012 Martha's Vineyardon as needed basis

5) Windsurfers, sailors and kiteboarders will always have enough wind for a great ride

6) Each child riding the Flying Horses will snag the brass ring at least once

7) For those fishing, the big one will never get away

8) Island grown tomatoes, corn and seafood will be abundant on everyone’s table

9) Everyone will get their first choice reservation slot on the ferry

10) Instead of sand, departing cars will carry away with them only happy m
