January
PLAY: Come chow down at ChiliFest and make a long weekend of it. Take in a movie, watch the waves roll in across the Atlantic at Wasque
STAY: Nashua House, located in downtown Oak Bluffs , is an easy cab ride from the PA Club
EAT: Tuck into a big breakfast at the Black Dog before heading home.
February
PLAY: Book a romantic room. Stroll to dinner at one of the Island’s best and most romantic restaurants. We’re sure you can figure out the rest.
STAY: Ashley Inn, lovely décor, with all of Edgartown to explore hand in hand.
EAT: Atria, Intimate and gracious. Exquisite presentation, tasting menu, wine pairings.
March
PLAY: Celebrate St Paddy’s Day any day. Check out Irish music nights at Offshore Ale while toasting Eire with house-made brews

PLAY: Come for Easter weekend and while the kids are hunting for eggs, explore your summer options.

May
PLAY: You can come on Memorial Day weekend along everyone or you can visit earlier in the month and enjoy the splendor of early spring on MV and have it (almost) all to yourself.
STAY: Victorian Inn where the spring sea breezes will blow through the chintz curtains
EAT: The Little House Café, yummy sandwiches and lighter fare to take on a spring picnic.
June
PLAY: It’s Restaurant Week month …need we say more?!
STAY: Winnetu at South Beach, Full amenity resort allows you to concentrate on making the rounds of Island restaurants including Lure (in-house).
EAT: For a snack, stop in at the Net Result for the first fried clams of summer.
July
PLAY: hit the beach…it’s what a Martha’s Vineyard summer is all about

EAT: at l’etoile in the garden; you’ll have a hard time deciding which is lovelier, the summer evening or the choices on Chef’s Michael Brisson’s tasting menu
August
PLAY: Though this probably the Island’s busiest week , tucking yourself away in Aquinnah and spending your days playing at the Ag Fair is idyllic. Not coming Fair week ? No problem… there’s so much going on Island-wide you need not stray east of the West Tisbury town line unless you want to.
STAY: Outermost Inn
EAT: Of course you’ll want to eat burgers, fried dough and all the rest at the Fair. But for a grown up dinner, reserve a garden table at the Sweet Life in Oak Bluffs. President Obama ate here on both his visits to MV…in August…we’re just sayin’…
September
PLAY: Come for a long weekend and enjoy all the fun of summer . Or plan your visit around Martha’s Vineyard’s annual International Film Festival. Either way you’ll see why September is the month Islanders love best.
STAY: Mansion House… command central for the Film Festival with heated indoor pool, health club and spa.
EAT: Salt Water Restaurant. Vineyard havens hidden gem within walking distance of downtown with a surprising view of Lagoon Pond.
October
PLAY: Hike, bike, explore, indulge. The Island’s pace has slowed but the outdoors has never been more inviting. Prime fishing season; the MV Striped Bass and Bluefish derby winding up mid-month. And then there's the MV Food & Wine Festival too!

November
PLAY: Come to the Island for Thanksgiving. Martha’s Vineyard restaurants go all out to create traditional locally sourced feasts from farm raised turkeys to Island grown pumpkin pies.
STAY: Thorncroft Inn. Warm, welcoming and feels like coming home to the family manse.
EAT: Lattanzi’s Pizzeria.When you want a delicious break from turkey and the trimmings. Wood fired oven makes a great pizza and warms up the ambience too.
December
PLAY: December on Martha’s Vineyard means Christmas in Edgartown. But there are 3 other fun filled weeks to tempt you to come as well. Vineyard Haven invites you to ‘Come Home for the Holidays’ and the Island sparkles with light, good cheer and great shopping. If you yearn for Christmas the way it used to be, come on over and spend Christmas on Martha’s Vineyard.
