This year enjoy gourmet offerings from several preeminent island restaurants while listening to the musical sounds of Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish and the Flying Elbows.  Sip still and sparkling waters, on the edge of Bliss Pond, in a truly spectacular setting, Captains Flanders House, North Road, Chilmark.

What is Vineyard House?
Vineyard House, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization providing safe, sober housing for men and women of Martha's Vineyard while they are in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.  Vineyard House provides our residents support while renewing responsibilities to themselves, their families and the community. Currently, we operate three houses, two for men and one for women.

Vineyard House was founded twelve years ago in 1997 by a group of dedicated and caring individuals who saw the need in the community for recovery support.  Thanks to all who support the Vineyard House miracles do happen a day at a time.  Our residents are required to pay rent, get a job, attend meetings and participate in Vineyard House household life.  Unfortunately rent does not cover the entire cost of the program and we are gratefully supported by private donations, grants and foundations.
