Christmas In Edgartown - Festive Holiday Weekend
From caroling at the traditional lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse to Sunday's annual breakfast with Santa, Christmas In Edgartown lives up to its reputation as being a delightful celebration of the season.The colonial era homes and quaint shops of Edgartown make the perfect backdrop to classic holiday decorations that brighten Main Street. The beautiful historic inns are decked in greeting card perfect Victorian style.
Martha's Vineyard Holidays - Something for Everybody
In addition to traditional events including the much anticipated holiday parade, photos with Santa, and Chowder Contest, there will also be wreath making workshops, holiday nature crafts and a cookie tasting contest. Or, visit Edgartown's historic churches and inns, resplendent in their holiday finery. Programs of Christmas music and family concerts will also be offered. While shopping, enjoy wine, hot drinks and tasty treats, both sweet and savory offered by Edgartown's friendly merchants.

Sample the island's best seafood & clam chowders and vote for your favorite from local restaurants, island chefs and even secret family recipes. Proceeds benefit the Red Stocking Fund.
Shopping Edgartown and More
Shoppers looking for unique gifts can visit the Handmade from the Heart Sale, the Holiday Arts and Crafts Show and church fairs featuring rummage sale items. "I Love Shopping in Edgartown" Raffle has more prizes this year than ever, one raffle ticket per $25 purchase Nov 27 - Dec 19. when the raffle drawings will take place at the Christina Gallery.
Holiday Events For Kids of All Ages
Activities for kids include a treasure hunt and appearances and photo-ops with Santa. Local shops and other businesses greet visitors with cider, hot chocolate and treats. There are raffles, book-signings, craft workshops, and open houses at galleries, banks and realtors, as well as the Main Street inns. The Minnesingers cast their magical spell performing Holiday favorites at the historic Whaling Church .
