148th MV Agricultural Fair 2009 |

Rides, games, shellfish shucking and fiddle contests, skillet toss, horse pull, woodsmen competition, fiber-arts tent, dog and livestock shows--it's a real old-fashioned Agricultural Country Fair with mid-way sponsored by the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society.
Fair Hours: Thurs, Fri, Sat - 10 am - 11pm; Sun - 10 am - 7 pm. Carnival rides start 10:30 am.
Tickets are: $8 Adults, $5 Juniors 5-12 & Seniors 62+. Children under 5 are free. Agricultural Society members-free.
AT THE MVAS FIBER TENT DAILY: Spinners, weavers, knitters and felters ply their craft amonst sheep, goats, llamas and alpacas. Demonstrations daily: fiber crafts, working dogs and sheep shearing

Judging of the Halls Exhibits will begin promptly at 8:30 am August 20th, and the Hall will be closed to the public until judging is completed.

This year's Fair may receive financial assistance from the Massachusetts Department of Food and Agriculture. Agricultural Society Members holding Membership cards are entitles to free entry to the Fair. Membership fee - $25 Adults, $10 Juniors, Family - 2 Adults, 2 Children 12 and under $50, additional children under Family Membership $6 each
