What: Any children graded 3-12 interested in singing, dancing or acting are welcome to perform along with an all star cast at no cost. No experience is necessary. There will be a modular rehearsal schedules to accommodate busy lives.

What: kids ages 6-18 explore theater in a safe, supportive hands-on manner. Offered as full or half day options, 1- or 2- week sessions. Learning all aspects of theater craft, empowers participants to create their own theater projects.

Who: Summer Stars at the Vineyard Playhouse
When: Weekly from July 2 - August 31; Monday - Friday 9am – 1 pm.
Where: The Vineyard Playhouse, 24 Church Street, downtown Vineyard Haven.
What: fun weekly program exploring the magic of theater and art for ages 9-14. Weekly themes include: Greek Week, African tales, Shakespeare. Performances for family and friends. $200/ week or $700 for four weeks. Scholarships & family rates available.

Who: The Fabulists
When: Every Saturday in July & August, weather permitting
Where: The Amphitheater, adjacent to the Lake Tahsmoo Overlook on State Rd., VH
What: Madcap merriment when the kids in the audience jump in to help out with improvised antic fairy
tales performed by the Fabulists. Its fun for all ages and a great way to start to a silly Saturday. General admission is $7; children 2 and under admitted free. Tickets sold at the Amphitheater prior to the show, cash only.

Who: Featherstone Center for the Arts
When: weekly from July 7 -August 11. 9 am – noon, Monday - Friday
Where: Barnes Road 1/4 mile from the 4-way stop on the VH-Edg Rd.
What: Magic Garden Summer Camp for ages 3-6 highlights the painting process; 3-D Discovery Camp for children ages 7 -9 focuses on the creation of 3-D objects and Pottery and Printmaking for ages10 and older-an in-depth study of techniques and processes in ceramics and monoprinting.
