Art Cliff Diner
Although this landmark underwent a facelift a few years back, this popular restaurant still maintains the funky, local appeal of the original. The inventive food, featuring lots of  fresh gourmet ingredients, packs the cozy diner-style restaurant at breakfast and lunchtime. (Both served til 2.)

Pomodoro
Although it’s considered the Oak Bluffs pizza joint, it’s the pastas that shine at this fun gathering spot. Big open bistro features gourmet salads and seafood and traditional pastas, alongside Italian standards and burgers and sandwiches.

Sharky’s
Fun crowded bar/restaurant serving up fresh tasting Mexican food and interesting drinks.

MV Bagel Authority
The name says it all. Anything and everything on any kind of bagel. Plus soups, muffins, cookies, etc. The bagels, baked on premises, are the freshest on the island.

Bangkok Cuisine
An exceptional example of how fresh and flavorful the most interesting of the Asian cuisines can be. This newcomer occupies a pretty Victorian house on upper Circuit Ave. Oak Bluffs.

Net Result
Seafood doesn’t get any fresher. The take out counter serves up fried fish and shellfish, mussels, chowder, sushi, seafood salads and wraps. They also have terrific pies and cookies. Enjoy it all at the picnic tables with a view of the VH harbor.

Daily Grind
Step inside this spacious counter-service restaurant and you’re faced with lots of sandwich and breakfast choices. Baked goods, ice cream and fruit smoothies will satisfy any sweet tooth. The coffee is good and the tables and counter seats all have views of pond or harbor through the wall length windows. Conveniently located in the Tisbury Market Place on Beach Road (lots of parking)

Beetlebung
Paninis are the specialty and they’re all good. The breakfast sandwich, made with a poached egg and Black Forest ham is a delicious non-greasy version of the classic.

Mocha Motts
Bagel sandwiches and wraps, soups and salads make up the menu at this popular coffee shop. Hangout for teens and artsy types, both locations are also informal art galleries, spotlighting up-and-coming local artists with shows changing monthly. Two locations.

China House
Standard Chinese fare is served up at this pretty restaurant in a house on Upper Main Street Edgartown. All your favorites and some nice specialty dishes. Fast, efficient service.

90 Main Street
Where the locals go for a quick lunch in Vineyard Haven. Daily specials and good soups complement the selection of basic sandwiches.

Woodland Variety and Grill
Tradesmen favor this State Road lunch spot for the quick service and healthy size sandwiches and standard grill items.

Dock Street
This is the place with the real feel of a local eatery. There are a few tables but the action is at the counter where you can check out the bustle, as breakfast flies off the grill and coffee cups are continually refilled. This diner is always crowded but the atmosphere is friendly with people passing condiments down or changing seats to accommodate new arrivals.

Espresso Love
Specialty sandwiches, pizza, salads, soup, chili and more accompanied by great coffee and lots of baked goods! Inside and enclosed porch tables are available for breakfast, lunch or informal meetings over cappuccino.

Main Street Diner
The look is retro and the menu too has a 50s comfort food bent with daily specials like meatloaf and spaghetti pie. Dining alone? Take a seat at the counter and you can occupy yourself from cherry coke to apple pie just checking out the vintage advertising and other kitsch.

Linda Jean's
Friendly and homey, Linda Jean's is a favorite breakfast, lunch & dinner spot for tradesman and tourists alike. Great burgers, etc. and save room for a slice of homemade pie or try the grapenut pudding.

Edgartown Pizza
For great family-friendly dining, bring the gang to Edgartown Pizza located at the Triangle in Edgartown. Delicious pizzas, fresh salads & homemade specialities, open daily til 9pm.

Plane View
The cafe at the MV Airport is a fun change of pace for breakfast or lunch. A view of the runway may just inspire you to get away - or learn to fly - who knows.

Getting together with friends for an evening out? The island offers choices from ethnic to new American cuisine with an atmosphere to suit any mood.

Seasons
Come join the crowd at Seasons Eatery, Oak Bluffs' most popular year-round restaurant and sports bar. Along with the great sandwiches and pub menu, Seasons sushi bar attracts a lot of attention. When the Sox or Pats are making a run you can be sure that Seasons has the game on one of its many screens.

David Ryan’s Cafe & Restaurant
Since changing ownership last year, this Edgartown favorite hangout has become a destination for serious food. Upstairs, we offer pretty presentations of interesting appetizers and entrees. Downstairs, you’ll find a fun crowd sipping fun cocktails. The new bar menu has some great gourmet options.

Square Rigger
Famous for their numerous lobster presentations and prime rib. The Square Rigger hasn’t changed up their menu much since they opened, and for good reason. It’s a very popular spot among locals, who appreciate the consistency and value (salads are included with entrees). Located in an old captain’s house, the restaurant has a nice masculine feel with lots of wood, spacious booths and two fireplaces.

OffShore Ale
The Island's only brewery and restaurant is a popular year round gathering spot not to be missed. Enjoy lunch, dinner or a hand crafted beer in Offshore's unique rustic interior or on the seasonal patio. Famous barrel of peanuts, Wood-fired brick oven pizza, voted "Best of the Vineyard" burger, oysters, steaks and more. Live entertainment.

Lattanzi’s
An Italian trattoria in the heart of Edgartown, Lattanzi's specializes in wood-fired thin crust pizzas. Pastas, grilled options and nightly specials are also available. The fine dining establishment next door is open weekends and offers Tuscan cuisine and a wide selection of Italian wines in a warm intimate setting with fireplace.

Ocean View
Have dinner in the bar in convivial surroundings or try the roomy dining room featuring standard seafood, steak, pasta and other options accompanied by the popular salad bar. A local favorite for casual and family dining.

The Newes
English pub atmosphere complete with a cozy hearth and numerous draft beer, the Newes has a varied menu and is a very cozy choice for either lunch or dinner in Edgartown.

The Wharf
Downtown Edgartown hot spot, the Wharf is a popular bar with live music on weekends. They offer a wide range of appetizers, pub fare and seafood and other entrees for lunch or dinner.

Zephrus
Located at the busy Mansion House, Zephrus offers New American cuisine in a pretty, open dining room. Bring your own wine to pair with delicious options, both simple and gourmet.

New England American fare is delivered from an open kitchen in this light, airy Edgartown restaurant. Flavorful, not overly fussy, entrees are paired with a wide selection of wines. The nightly prix fixe three course dinner for $30 should not be missed at anytime of the year.

Nicky’s
A casual bistro style restaurant specializing in Italian comfort food. A lot more than pasta is on the menu at this local gathering spot. BYOB and make it a party.

Slice of Life
A little more gourmet than other Oak Bluffs midday options, this Circuit Ave. eatery is the award winning Sweet Life restaurant's more informal sister. Make sure to sample one of the homemade baked goods - a slice of something from the Slice will sweeten up your day. A similar menu is also available for a casual dinner.

Black Dog
The cafe has a fireplace, the tavern of course has the terrific harbor view. Either choice is a great option for lunch in Vineyard Haven. The tavern also serves dinner and is the place for breakfast on the Island. At the cafe you can shop for your Black Dog merchandise while you dine.

This small stylish restaurant features innovative cuisine and a pretty bar on the edge of Oak Bluff’s Post Office Square. In its fifth season, Park Corner has truly carved out a niche among the island’s gourmet options.

Local ingredients highlight the ever-changing menu at this Edgartown restaurant with the best view on the island. All new restaurant and menu for 2008 invite you to enjoy the panorama of lighthouse and Chappaquiddick. The bar also has a terrific menu and is very cozy.
