Celebrate the discovery of fine chocolates at Featherstone Center for the Arts with a delicious array of candy, cakes, cookies and brownies: Dark chocolate! Milk chocolate! White chocolate and two chocolate fountains will tempt attendee taste buds.
Preview Donor Party, 'The Art of Chocolate by Artists'
Friday October, 5th from 7 - 9 pm
Preview party guests will have the opportunity to sample chocolate creations by Vineyard artists and be on hand for gifts, prizes, champagne, chocolate martinis, a chocolate fountain and the start of our event-long silent auction. There are three donor level: $25/person, $50/person and $100/person. Don't miss this event!

Taste imported chocolates from faraway places.
Treat yourself to your favorites from island confectioners and caterers. Savor samples from two chocolate fountains. Learn about chocolate from tree to truffle.

Enjoy classics including 'Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' and recent favorites 'Chocolat' and 'Like Water for Chocolate'. The story of chocolate that explains the whole process of chocolate making from cocoa beans to the fabulous tastes that we all enjoy.
Silent Auction
Silent auction of chocolate favors, treats and books. Every evening the highest bidder at the silent auction takes home delicious chocolate and assorted goodies.
Featherstone Center for the Arts 
Featherstone Center for the Arts is a nonprofit community art center established in August, 1996 through the cooperative purchase of Featherstone Farm with the Martha's Vineyard Land Bank. The center fosters a sense of community by using the arts as a magnet to draw Vineyarders together through varied art experiences. Focus is on the visual, performing and literary arts with classes for all ages, concerts, exhibits, gallery shows, lectures and performances.

Art Instruction & Activities
Featherstone offers many classes and workshops on a variety of different subjects, from Digital Photography to Yoga, and everything in between: Photography, Painting and Drawing, Pottery, Printmaking and Stained Glass, Writing and Playwriting.
We have recently extended our programming to include the pre-school age child and family arts. We offer summer and Saturday and after school arts programming for pre-schoolers, families, and adults, plus free after school art programs for teens in photography, poetry and pottery.
Gallery Information
Featherstone's year-round gallery offers art for sale during revolving shows in different media and on familiar Vineyard themes, as well as through our Upstairs Gallery, featuring its teacher's giclee prints and original art work. Both are open daily from noon - 4 pm.
